Top Requirements: SQL operations DBA with experience in on-prem > cloud deploymentsPowerShell > T-SQLTerraform, GitlabInterested in automation of pipelines to handle build out into Google CloudGoogle Cloud Platform, AWS cloud experienceDay to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This person will join a team of SQL DBAs and will be responsible for spearheading a migration of SQL applications from on-prem to the cloud. This group is embarking on a 3 year project to deploy applications to Google cloud. There will be a set number of applications to be migrated per quarter, with numbers increasing as time goes on. The goal for Q2 is 2-3 applications per quarter. This person will be responsible for creating the architectural plan for the migration - setting up repositories, developing playbooks, etc. The team has partnered with other LOBs to utilize their artifacts, so is seeking someone that can come in and either improve upon what has already been developed, or create something from scratch. Maintenance, troubleshooting and other tasks should be acknowledged and set up correctly to maintain the environment in the future. In their downtime, this person will be trained in their current on-prem environment to perform maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
