Summary

Job Title: Tableau Developer (with basic Power BI knowledge)

Location: New York/ Los Angeles, CA/ Miami, FL/ Minneapolis or Seattle, WA - LOCAL (Hybrid)

Job Description

We are seeking a Tableau Developer with basic knowledge of Power BI to support reporting and dashboard migration activities. The candidate will primarily work on Tableau development and should have a foundational understanding of existing Power BI dashboards to help translate and recreate them in Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
Analyze existing Power BI reports/dashboards and translate their functionality into Tableau.
Work with stakeholders to understand business reporting requirements.
Ensure data accuracy, visualization best practices, and performance optimization in Tableau dashboards.
Collaborate with data teams to connect and transform data sources.
Document dashboard logic, calculations, and data flows.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Tableau (Desktop & Server).
Basic understanding of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
Experience with data visualization, dashboard design, and storytelling.
Ability to interpret existing reports and recreate them in Tableau.
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in enterprise reporting environments.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
Exposure to financial services or banking domain is a plus.
