Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

A bit about us:

We are a family-owned general contractor with over 110 years of history building communities across Northern California. One of the largest and most respected firms in our region for commercial, residential, and public works clients. With more than 325 employees and a leadership team carrying 275+ combined years of industry experience, we have built a culture grounded in craftsmanship, loyalty, and a genuine commitment to the communities we serve. Many of our team members have spent their entire careers here. We work hard every day to earn that kind of loyalty.

Why join us?
  • A genuine seat at the table: You are embedded in the business -- finance leans on you, field leaders lean on you, and your work directly shapes how this company attracts, develops, and keeps great people.
  • Clear path to leadership: This role is the direct predecessor to an HR Director seat. The company recognizes and rewards people who are driven and strategic.
  • Infrastructure already built: Compliance systems are well-established and well-maintained. You come in to focus on high-impact work -- coaching, employee relations, partnership -- not rebuilding from scratch.
  • Mission-driven organization: Founded on the principle of doing good work for the community in which you live and work. That still shows up in how leadership operates and what gets valued.
  • Field-connected HR: If you want to be close to the work -- supporting crews, navigating union relationships, partnering on safety -- this role puts you exactly there.
