Summary
Join our team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you'll play a critical role in analyzing data to uncover trends and patterns that safeguard state Medicaid programs. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to impactful projects in the healthcare sector.
<>Responsibilities>- Analyze and interpret complex data to identify fraud, waste, and abuse trends within claims data.
- Engage with clients to manage operational inquiries and tasks effectively.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software teams to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract and analyze data for client inquiries.
- Utilize production reports for research and quality assessments of overall data.
- 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries.
- Extensive background in fraud, waste, and abuse data mining.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on healthcare claims data.
- Proficient in interpreting and analyzing diverse datasets.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
- Experience with statistical data analysis.
- Knowledge of Medicaid policies and fraud schemes.
- Familiarity with healthcare claim adjudication systems.
