Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

6-10 years of experience in test automation.
Strong hands-on expertise in UI automation, API testing, regression automation, and end-to-end validation using Playwright and Cypress.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across POS systems
Validate integrations between backend services, APIs and downstream applications.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases.
Analyze defects, support root cause investigation, and improve overall test coverage.
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness.

Nice to Have:

Good understanding of POS systems / retail workflows and end-to-end transaction validation.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins / Azure DevOps, test reporting, and Agile delivery.

Skills:

Playwright.
Cypress.
JavaScript.
TypeScript.
