MUST HAVES:

  • MINIMUM 5+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise healthcare IT application implementation projects within a large healthcare system.
  • Experience leading enterprise application implementations, system integrations, upgrades, or optimization projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience working with executives, business leaders, physicians, clinical teams, and technical teams.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into project plans.
  • Experience managing project budgets, forecasts, risks, timelines, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Visio, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, drive projects forward, and build strong relationships across the organization.

Relevant Epic experience may include: Ambulatory, ClinDoc, ASAP, OpTime, Anesthesia, Radiant, Beacon, Willow, Beaker, Stork, Cadence, Prelude, Resolute (Professional/Hospital Billing), MyChart, Healthy Planet, Cupid, Lumens, Cogito, Bridges, Grand Central, Epic upgrades, go-lives, optimizations, integrations, testing (UAT, Integrated Testing, TDR).

Relevant Shared Services / Enterprise application experience may include: ServiceNow, HR/Workforce Management, Finance, Oracle ERP, Supply Chain, Procurement, Point of Sale (POS), Foundation, 4Demand, Treasury, Analytics, Reporting, Legal, Compliance, Archival/Document Management, Facilities, Physical Security, Language Services, Virtual Care, Search & Schedule, EDA.

PLUSES:

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare application portfolios.
  • Experience creating workflow diagrams and process maps using Visio.
  • Experience leading organizational change management and go-live readiness activities.
  • Experience supporting enterprise PMOs within large healthcare organizations.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Lead multiple healthcare IT projects from initiation through implementation and go-live.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and timelines.
  • Coordinate activities across business stakeholders, application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, status updates, and executive communications.
  • Gather business requirements and ensure project deliverables align with organizational objectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, dependencies, and escalation items.
  • Coordinate vendor activities, implementation schedules, testing, and project deliverables.
  • Track project financials, forecasting, invoices, and overall budget performance.
  • Support enterprise application implementations, upgrades, optimizations, integrations, and operational initiatives.
  • Create and maintain project documentation including status reports, risk logs, meeting minutes, project plans, and workflow documentation.

Successfully manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
