About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with strong experience in big data engineering, backend development, and modern frontend technologies. In this role, you will support complex, large-scale database engineering initiatives and contribute to strategic technical solutions that have broad organizational impact.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, evaluate multi-layered engineering challenges, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across our technology ecosystem.
Responsibilities

• Lead and consult on complex, enterprise-level database engineering initiatives.
• Analyze and resolve multi-faceted data engineering challenges involving ambiguity, emerging technologies, or unprecedented technical considerations.
• Apply deep knowledge of functional standards, policies, and compliance requirements to meet project deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using Python, Java, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Partner strategically with client and internal engineering teams to define requirements, propose solutions, and support long-term implementation success.
• Build and optimize big data pipelines and data processing components in distributed environments.

Required Skills & Experience
Core Skills

• 5+ years of Database Engineering experience or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
• Full-stack engineering experience with:
  • Python
  • Java
  • React.js (1-2 years preferred)
• Big data engineering experience with tools such as:
  • Hadoop
  • Hive
  • BigQuery
  • Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with modern AI approaches, including Agentic AI
• Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems
• Ability to collaborate across diverse technical and non-technical partners

This role is based on-site in Charlotte, NC.
