Summary:
eCommerce is a key digital enabler to the Company’s aftermarket parts and services growth strategy. Delivering on the Client''s brand promise of premium, high-quality solutions is an important element in accelerating the development and deployment of the Company’s expanded capabilities in eCommerce.

Responsibilities

Set the technical direction and oversee the execution of advanced search solutions.
Combine strategic vision, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership to build scalable, high-performance search platforms that deliver exceptional user experiences.
Define and implement a long-term technical vision for the search platform to ensure scalability and adaptability to growing data volumes and query complexity.
Mentor and guide a team of search engineers through technical reviews, best practices, and collaborative problem-solving.
Introduce advanced capabilities such as NLP, vector search, and personalization to enhance search relevance and accuracy.
Build search capabilities with measurable KPIs and leverage analytics to continuously improve search performance.
Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to align search initiatives with business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
10 years of overall software engineering experience, including at least 7 years in search engineering.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.

Skills

Strong understanding of modern search technologies and frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Coveo or comparable enterprise search platforms such as Vertex AI Search or Vertex AI Search for Commerce.
Experience working with heavy equipment engineering data or large-scale data analysis.
Experience building low-latency APIs on AWS using in-memory storage solutions.
Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks for evaluating and optimizing search performance.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Advanced experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
Experience working in Agile and global team environments.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to drive technical initiatives.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $88.00 - $89.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, health savings accounts with qualified medical plan enrollment, 10 paid days off, 3 days paid bereavement leave, 401(k) plan participation with employer match, life and disability insurance, commuter benefits, dependent care flexible spending account, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, accommodations and reimbursement for work travel, and discretionary performance or recognition bonus.
