Infrastructure Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), and Terraform to design, build, and automate secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing reusable Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules, implementing enterprise cloud standards, and automating infrastructure deployments across Azure and Google Cloud Platform environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Build secure, scalable, and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Implement infrastructure automation and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Integrate security controls, governance policies, and tagging standards into Terraform modules.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to establish IaC best practices.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot deployment issues, and create technical documentation.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience developing reusable Terraform modules and enterprise IaC frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Platform IaaS services including Virtual Machines, Managed Disks, Storage Services, Virtual Networks (VNet) / VPC, Load Balancers, High Availability & Disaster Recovery.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, security, and governance.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise landing zones and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of infrastructure hardening and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with golden image management and image lifecycle automation.
• Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or HashiCorp Terraform certifications.

Must Have Skills: Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Cloud Networking, CI/CD, PowerShell/Python/Bash.
