Business Analyst with MDM (Master Data Management) and Financial Domain-Full time-Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Financial Services (FS) and Master Data Management (MDM) experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working on MDM initiatives, gathering business requirements, creating user stories, and partnering with Product Owners and business stakeholders.

Experience with Semarchy MDM or TIBCO EBX is highly desirable. Private Equity experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

< data-start="645" data-end="686">Business Analysis & Requirements

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, process flows, functional specifications, and other project documentation.
• Analyze new enhancement requests and determine whether existing capabilities can support them or if new functionality is required.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.

• Participate in Master Data Management (MDM) projects involving customer, client, product, reference, or other enterprise data.
• Analyze data requirements, business rules, data relationships, and data quality requirements.
• Support data standardization, governance, validation, and consistency initiatives.
• Work with technical teams to translate business MDM requirements into functional solutions.
• Experience with Semarchy MDM / xDM or TIBCO EBX is a strong advantage.

• Apply knowledge of the Financial Services (FS) industry to business requirements and MDM initiatives.
• Experience in Private Equity is highly preferred.
• Exposure to Asset Management, Investment Management, Wealth Management, Banking, or Capital Markets is a plus.

• Work closely with Business Sponsors and Product Owners to prioritize functionality and enhancements.
• Communicate business priorities clearly to development teams.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder discussions.
• Act as the first point of contact for enhancement requests and business process questions.
• Provide regular updates and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and issues.

• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for simplification and standardization.
• Support Agile project delivery and participate in:
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Stand-ups
  • Backlog Refinement
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Retrospectives
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, developers, QA, and other project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Financial Services experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience working on MDM projects.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
• Experience writing Business Requirements, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Experience working with Business Sponsors and Product Owners.
• Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
