SAP SCM Lead / Architect with MFG
Requirements
• Production planning and master scheduling in a discrete/job-shop manufacturing environment
• Capacity planning: work-center loading, constraint identification, and demonstrated-capacity analysis
• Work-order management: release sequencing, priority logic, and WIP control across value streams
• Inventory management: replenishment policy design, strategic buffering, and decoupling-point placement
• Scheduling theory and practice: finite vs. infinite scheduling, sequencing rules, and schedule attainment metrics
• Ability to assess and diagnose a troubled SAP implementation — identify root causes of data-fidelity gaps
• Experience correcting routing data: processing times, work-center codes, and capacity parameters
• Practical knowledge of configuring scheduling logic, WO release rules, and priority queues in a shop-floor
• Comfortable working alongside IT and operations to validate and cleanse master data in the live system
• Ability to define, build, and operationalize KPIs across the planning and scheduling cycle:
• Schedule attainment, on-time shipment, WO cycle time, throughput at constraint operations, and delinquent backlog
• Experience designing daily/weekly cadence reviews with frontline and operational leadership
• Proven ability to lead a workstream from assessment through stabilization and sustainable process adoption
• Skilled at translating technical planning concepts into practical, floor-level behavior change
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders: operations, customer service, procurement, and IT
• Ability to develop and deliver targeted training and standard work for planning and scheduling roles
