Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud environments. The role will focus on cloud security architecture, identity and access management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Implement and manage IAM, network security, encryption, logging, and monitoring controls.
• Perform cloud security assessments and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Configure security services such as firewalls, WAF, SIEM, CSPM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats and investigate security incidents.
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Implement security controls for cloud infrastructure, applications, containers, and APIs.
• Support vulnerability management, remediation, and security patching activities.
• Automate security processes using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Terraform.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and support DevSecOps practices.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, application, and compliance teams.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation activities.
• Prepare security documentation, reports, and compliance evidence.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Good knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, key management, and cloud security architecture.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM solutions.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and threat detection.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD security practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
