Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Validation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing validation activities to ensure product quality, performance, and compliance with design specifications. The role involves close collaboration with design, hardware, software, and quality teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and test procedures.
- Perform functional, system, and regression testing on hardware and software products.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed validation reports.
- Identify, debug, and resolve product defects.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or other scripting languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Firmware, Hardware, and Quality Engineering.
- Ensure products meet quality standards, customer requirements, and industry specifications.
- Support product bring-up, characterization, and performance testing.
- Document validation results and provide recommendations for product improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in validation, testing, or product engineering.
- Experience with hardware and software validation methodologies.
- Knowledge of debugging techniques and laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Experience with scripting or automation using Python, C, or C++.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with embedded systems or semiconductor validation.
- Knowledge of JTAG, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, or PCIe protocols.
- Experience with Linux or Windows testing environments.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and test management tools.
- Understanding of product lifecycle and quality standards.
