Research Technician

• Responsible for supporting clinical trial procedures and ensuring compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (Google Cloud Platform), SOPs, QA/QC procedures, OSHA guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provides operational, administrative, and clinical support while ensuring the safety and well-being of study participants in a clinical research environment.

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomist certification required.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a clinical environment.
• Ability to obtain vital signs and perform ECGs.
• Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Experience:

• Experience supporting clinical trials and clinical research activities.
• Experience performing patient care procedures in a clinical setting.
• Experience working in regulated healthcare or research environments preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform study procedures in strict compliance with protocols and regulatory standards.
• Support execution of clinical trials and related research activities.
• Ensure safety and well-being of study participants.
• Perform vital signs measurement and ECG procedures.
• Perform or assist with telemetry and IV catheter insertion (or willingness to learn).
• Provide administrative and operational support for clinical studies.
• Maintain compliance with Google Cloud Platform, SOPs, QA/QC, OSHA, and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support data integrity.
• Work independently while collaborating with clinical research teams.

Should Have:

• Experience with telemetry procedures preferred.
• Experience inserting intravenous catheters preferred.
• Clinical research or hospital/healthcare environment exposure preferred.
