Our client, a leading technology organization is seeking a Validation Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Validation Engineer 4, you will be part of a highly technical group supporting processor silicon interface validation with a strong focus on power management. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on mindset for electrical and functional validation, strong problem-solving skills for debug and issue resolution, and the communication ability to guide and train others across the validation process.

What\'s the Job?
\t- Develop and write comprehensive electrical and functional test plans for processor interface validation of processors. \t
- Execute electrical and functional test plans for client processors using hardware and software validation tools, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. \t
- Debug electrical and functional issues for new processors, driving issues to clear root cause and resolution. \t
- Provide detailed input into platform definition and review of platform designs used in silicon validation of new processors. \t
- Deliver technical guidance and training to less experienced engineers and technicians in planning, test execution, and debug for processor validation.
What\'s Needed?
\t- Bachelor?s in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 8?10 years of related experience; or a Master?s degree plus at least 8+ years of directly related experience (advanced degree considered a plus). \t
- Demonstrated technical expertise in the development and execution of platform-level electrical and functional test plans. \t
- Platform-level electrical characterization experience with processor I/O interfaces is considered preferred. \t
- Demonstrated technical expertise in debugging processor and PC platform I/O interfaces. \t
- Experience and/or knowledge using oscilloscopes, reading schematics and layout documentation, and MS Windows and Office applications, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
