Overview

We are seeking a Senior TOC Analyst to serve as the highest-level technical escalation point within a fast-paced Technology Operations Center environment. This role is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, major incident coordination, enterprise monitoring optimization, and proactive operational support across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with enterprise monitoring platforms, especially SolarWinds, and strong cross-functional coordination skills during critical incidents and outage events.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Tier 3 escalation support for complex operational and infrastructure issues
• Lead technical triage and incident response during major outages and declared incidents
• Analyze monitoring data, telemetry, logs, and performance metrics to identify root causes
• Configure and optimize monitoring alerts, dashboards, service maps, and suppression logic
• Identify monitoring gaps and partner with engineering teams to onboard new systems and applications
• Develop and maintain operational runbooks, topology documentation, and troubleshooting guides
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Security, and Application teams
• Support new application alerting implementation and monitoring discovery initiatives
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts
• Participate in disaster recovery exercises and monitoring validation efforts
• Provide rotating after-hours support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in TOC, NOC, IT Operations, or Infrastructure Support environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SolarWinds (NPM, NTA, SAM, or related modules)
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools such as ThousandEyes and Splunk
• Strong troubleshooting skills across:
  • Servers
  • Networks
  • Cloud platforms
  • Virtualization environments
  • Enterprise applications
• Experience leading or coordinating major incident management activities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure operational environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or financial services industry experience
• ITIL v4, CCNA, Network+, or SolarWinds SCP certifications
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security event correlation
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale monitoring and operational readiness initiatives
