Senior IT Project Manager - Hybrid

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in Oakland, CA is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager that is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple simultaneous projects from inception to completion for Corporate Security technology projects. This may include software applications, hardware deployments and may include field work.

Responsibilities:
* Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and success criteria
* Anticipate resource needs and build realistic schedules
* Set up and manage projects in Planisware/CSD Intake & Execution tools
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and financials
* Develop and manage Statements of Work (SOWs) for vendors
* Lead technical and weekly status meetings; distribute notes within 1 business day
* Track progress using enterprise tools (Planisware, SAP, Ariba, Jira, forecasting tools)
* Communicate risks, issues, and status to stakeholders and leadership
* Proactively manage scope changes, risks, and mitigation plans
* Conduct site walk-downs or on-site visits as needed
* Build strong cross-functional partnerships across IT, business, and vendors

REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP certification is nice to have, not required
* 6+ years of relevant project management experience
* Demonstrated analytical, technical, and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
* Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools and systems
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
* Proven ability to build consensus and foster collaboration among management, stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams
* Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
* Adaptable and flexible in managing shifting priorities and evolving project requirements
* Skilled in conducting research and analysis related to project issues, technologies, and solutions
* Application PM experience is nice to have (development, deployment, or product management)

Physical Security/Field PM experience (nice to have):
* Access control systems
* Intrusion detection
* Video surveillance

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
