We’re looking for a Cerner Millennium CCL & Data Transformation Lead to support a major EHR migration initiative.
This is a high-impact role focused on moving data from legacy systems into Cerner Millennium, ensuring accuracy, performance, and alignment with clinical workflows.

Experience Required:
• Strong experience with Cerner Millennium + CCL

• Hands-on with SQL, Oracle, ETL

Responsibilities:
This role combines Millennium data management expertise with hands-on technical development and data extraction within Cerner environments. The selected candidate will ensure clinical workflow intent and operational requirements are accurately translated into Cerner Command Language (CCL) logic, data extracts, and downstream reporting solutions. Responsibilities include assessing and documenting clinical workflows across care settings, translating requirements into technical specifications, developing and optimizing CCL scripts, performing complex data extraction and validation from Oracle schemas, and supporting enterprise-wide EHR migration and legacy system retirement efforts. The role also involves building and maintaining ETL processes, troubleshooting performance issues, managing batch jobs, and collaborating with clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of data solutions.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 11 years of strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
• 11 years of experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations, migrations, or optimization initiatives
• 11 years of experience translating clinical requirements into technical and data specifications
• 11 years of advanced, hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
• 11 years of working knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
• 11 years of experience with SQL, Linux, and enterprise data extraction or migration patterns
• 11 years of experience designing and supporting ETL processes
• 11 years of experience with healthcare data integrations and reporting environments
• 11 years of experience with REST / SOA development
• 11 years of knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and performance tuning
• 11 years of experience writing, executing, and tuning CCL scripts in production environments
• 11 years of experience with data extraction, system integration, and code development
• 11 years of working knowledge of Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, or OCI
• 11 years of hands-on experience developing or supporting services on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OCI)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 11+ years of experience working with clinical informatics teams and stakeholders
• 11+ years of experience in enterprise-level data reporting and analytics solutions
