Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled, senior-level Full-Stack Software Engineer with a rare and powerful combination of Java and Golang expertise to join our engineering team in Dallas. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance backend microservices while contributing to dynamic, user-facing front-end web applications.
Because this position supports a sensitive, highly regulated environment, ship is strictly required, and candidates must be locally based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Architecture: Design, develop, and optimize highly scalable backend microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang for high-throughput, low-latency applications.
Full-Stack Delivery: Develop clean, responsive, and cross-browser compatible front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
API Development: Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs and gRPC services to connect disparate systems.
Database Management: Write complex SQL and NoSQL queries, ensuring optimal database performance, data integrity, and pipeline efficiency.
DevOps & Cloud Integration: Actively participate in CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions) and deploy secure applications to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with product managers, QA, and architects in an Agile/Scrum environment. Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure top-tier code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Java Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience with enterprise Java platforms, Java 11+, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
Golang Expertise: 2+ years of production experience writing clean, idiomatic Go for microservices, concurrency handling, and system-level utilities.
Front-End Skills: 3+ years of experience with UI technologies including HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React preferred).
Databases: Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis).
Cloud & Containers: Proven experience with Docker, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud-native application architectures.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with message brokers and event-streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with federal security frameworks or compliance audits (NIST, FedRAMP, SOC2).
Active secret or public trust clearance is a major plus.
