Location: Alexandria, Virginia (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position supports a Pentagon-level task force focused on understanding and countering adversarial drone threats. As a Spectrum Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing strategic insights, and creating reports to inform policy and doctrine. The role is analyst-heavy and requires individuals who can operate effectively in a dynamic, strategic, and policy-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze spectrum data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to system usage.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize spectrum usage and system performance metrics.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and interference analysis to provide threat mitigation reporting.
* Develop doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable products.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address spectrum-related issues and propose recommended solutions.
- Prepare and present analytical findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in spectrum management and data analytics.
Required Qualifications
Education and Experience: BA/BS with 4+ years of relevant experience; an AA/AS with 8+ years; or a HS/GED with 10+ years.
Technical Skills and Experience:- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of UxS/C-UxS capabilities and an understanding of the broader counter-UAS operational ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Red (adversarial) and Blue (friendly) system capabilities.
- Experience in intelligence analysis, mission briefing development, or supply chain analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior military experience with an understanding of operational context and doctrine.
- Experience writing doctrine, developing TTPs, or supporting senior military leadership.
- Backgrounds in surface warfare, aviation, maritime defense, or installation defense.
- Experience with test measurement and diagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Experience briefing senior-level military and civilian leaders.
