Your role Your mission as the Open-Clean-Close Lead Mechanic is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You will
- Have technical expertise with the following: pipe fitting skills; mechanical fasteners, hand tools; portable power tools; welding, and blueprint reading
- Lead, mentor, and support OCC mechanics by providing day-to-day direction, technical guidance, and hands-on training
- Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Lead by example in the proper use of PPE, safe equipment handling, and adherence to all workshop protocols
- Assign and prioritiez daily tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completion
- Act as the primary point of contact on the floor, escalating issues and coordinating with supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Monitor work quality and ensure adherence to company standards, identifying and correcting issues proactively
- Foster a positive team environment focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

- You have 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance (piping, welding, fabrication preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or trade school training strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a lead, senior, or mentoring role preferred
- Advanced mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting and problem-solvuing skills
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills
- High attention to detail with strong organizationl and documentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Certified or willing to become certified on-site for forklift, man basket, and lull operation
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a workshop environment
- Proficient with mobile apps and systems (Teams, Microsoft 365, work tracking tools; Salesforce is a plus)
