Job Title: Senior Project Manager (TED/PE)

Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage large, complex, and mission-critical enterprise technology projects that drive modernization, integration, and operational efficiency across business systems. This role requires strong project management leadership, a solid understanding of data-driven systems, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and technical partners.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of project governance, data and system integrations, Third-Party Electronic Databases, and Provider Enrollment Systems, along with proven proficiency in Microsoft Project for planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones. Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Governance
- Lead end-to-end management of large enterprise programs from project initiation, planning, execution, and control through deployment and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, resource allocations, timelines, and risk logs using Microsoft Project and related tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, or SharePoint).
- Define and track key project milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and performance indicators ensuring alignment with business goals and contractual SLAs.
- Oversee change management, budget control, and vendor coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Enforce project governance, documentation standards, and quality assurance processes aligned with PMBOK, ITIL, or Agile frameworks.
Technical Oversight & Systems Integration
- Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and data teams to ensure system designs meet functional, security, and performance requirements.
- Support modernization initiatives involving integration between legacy mainframe or relational database systems and Third-Party Provider Enrollment or Electronic Database systems.
- Work closely with teams managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), interface files, and data migration processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of data exchanges.
- Coordinate and monitor system testing (UAT, SIT), environment readiness, and release management activities.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data protection standards such as HIPAA, NIST, and SOC2.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business sponsors, technical teams, and vendor partners to maintain clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project dashboards, executive summaries, and risk reports highlighting progress, challenges, and mitigation plans.
- Facilitate status meetings, governance reviews, and technical workshops, ensuring all project stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
- Translate complex technical details into business-friendly language for non-technical executives.
Risk & Quality Control
- Identify project risks, constraints, and interdependencies early, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to prevent scope creep or delivery delays.
- Ensure all deliverables undergo thorough validation, testing, and documentation reviews prior to acceptance.
- Track and escalate issues effectively through structured communication and governance channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of proven experience managing large enterprise technology projects in modernization, integration, or data management environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience using project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Teams).
- Working understanding Third-Party Electronic Databases, Provider Enrollment Systems, and data interface mechanisms.
- Familiarity with database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and integration tools (Informatica, MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory).
- Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities to manage multiple teams and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing public-sector, healthcare, or provider data systems.
- Understanding of EDI transactions, API integrations, and data governance principles.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or SAFe are a plus.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like HIPAA, GDPR, and state-level IT standards.
