5 years or more of hands-on Azure network security engineering experience implementing cloud network controls and guardrails.

Proficiency in Azure Policy, network security controls, policy enforcement, compliance auditing, and remediation.

Experience with Azure VNets, NSGs, routing, Azure Firewall, private endpoints, hub-and-spoke networking, and PaaS connectivity.

Experience with HITRUST controls, network security assessments, control-gap analysis, compliance validation, and evidence collection.

Experience with CI/CD, policy-as-code, Azure network segmentation, Internet access controls, and secure administrative access.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Assess Azure subscriptions and network configurations to identify gaps against defined security and compliance controls.

Develop and test Azure Policies that audit, enforce, and remediate network security requirements within targeted environments.

Review VNets, NSGs, routing, firewalls, private endpoints, PaaS access, and public network exposure.

Implement network segmentation guardrails covering Internet access, administrative connectivity, private access, and hub routing.

Integrate Azure Policy deployment into CI/CD workflows and validate policy behavior before broader implementation.

Document network findings, policy configurations, test results, control evidence, remediation actions, and deployment outcomes.
