Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understand business objectives and problems.
- Identify alternative solutions.
- Perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.
- Confer with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports.
- Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
- Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Senior Data Analyst Requirements
Seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience in business and data analysis, including leading JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and analytical findings.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to develop and execute complex queries and joins.
- Perform data quality analysis.
- Translate business needs into actionable insights.
- Experience designing dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decision-making is required.
Skills/Requirements:
- Experience in IT, supporting the design, development, or delivery of technology solutions.E Required 8
- Experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full SDLC involvement (requirements through implementation). Required 8
- Experience in business analysis and data analysis. Required 8
- Experience conducting JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and data analysis findings. Required 8
- Experience using SQL, including the ability to create and execute complex joins. Required 8
- Experience analyzing data quality. Required 8
- Experience designing dashboards, including measures and KPIs. Required 8
- Experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS). Preferred 4
