Description
Role Overview
This role is a project-based sourcing and contract negotiation engagement focused on the renegotiation and consolidation of a legacy SaaS contract , a Digital Experience Platform (DXP), alongside a related Managed Service Provider (MSP) agreement.
The individual will lead end-to-end contract sourcing, negotiation, and alignment efforts to bring multiple existing agreements under a unified contractual framework, improve commercial and risk terms, and support upcoming renewal deadlines.

Key Objectives
Primary Responsibilities
Contract Negotiation & Sourcing
Lead negotiation of enterprise SaaS agreements for Optimizely (Digital Experience Platform)
Manage simultaneous negotiation of 7-8 contracts:
o ~5 Optimizely master and subcontracts
o ~3 Managed Service Provider agreements
Consolidate contracts into a single core term structure with:
o Standardized expiration dates
o Improved commercial and legal terms
o Clear vendor management and governance language
Drive negotiations with international vendors (UK- and Singapore-based)
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with:
o Marketing teams (primary platform users; web experimentation and content governance)
o Vendor Management (governance and commercial oversight)
o Operations (ensuring contracts are operationally workable post-signature)
o Legal (contract review, redlines, and risk mitigation)
Operate as the central coordination point across business, legal, and technology stakeholders
Platform & Business Context
Support a platform that manages ~140 websites across multiple firms
Understand marketing use cases including:
o Content management
o Web experimentation
o Digital experience delivery
Contribute to evaluation and onboarding of additional Optimizely modules

Required Experience
Core Requirements
Strong SaaS contract negotiation expertise (enterprise-scale)
Proven experience working within IT and technology procurement environments
Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-contract negotiations simultaneously
Experience negotiating contracts tied to:
o Enterprise IT SaaS
o Digital platforms
o Marketing technology (nice to have)
o Content management systems (CMS / DXP - nice to have)
Ability to navigate tight timelines with fixed renewal deadlines
Nice-to-Have / Strong Plus
Prior experience negotiating:
o Enterprise SaaS Agreements
o Optimizely contracts (big plus, not required)
o Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) or similar marketing platforms
Experience working directly with marketing organizations (nice to have)
Familiarity with Gartner-leading SaaS platforms
Experience with international vendors and cross-time-zone negotiations

Skills & Competencies
Advanced negotiation and vendor-facing communication skills
Strong balance of assertiveness and diplomacy ("push without being overly pushy")
Ability to operate independently in a project-based consulting role
Excellent stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
Highly organized; able to manage many moving pieces at once

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
