Genesis10 is currently seeking an Oracle Analytics Cloud / Essbase Administrator for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced Hyperion/EPM OCI/OAC/OAS Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise performance management and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Hyperion/EPM 11.2.x, Essbase 21C, and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), with strong skills in installation, configuration, migration, and performance tuning across Linux and Windows environments.
Responsibilities: - Hands on administration of Oracle Essbase / EPM 11.x on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Standalone (Independent) and Full EPM Stack Deployments
- Experience installing and configuring Essbase/EPM and supporting BSO ASO applications, outlines, data loads, calculations, and aggregations
- Strong Essbase operations experience: service start/stop, monitoring, patching, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Expertise in UNIX MaxL scripting for administration, backups, automation, and routine maintenance
- Hands on experience managing Essbase data connections to Oracle ADW/ATP, Oracle DB (OCI/on prem), SQL Server, and other third party sources, including secure wallet and credential management
- Experience with OCI infrastructure and security fundamentals, including compute, block/file/object storage, backups/restores, and IAM/SSO/SSL
- Hands on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) provisioning, configuration, scaling, lifecycle management, and OCI tenancy/compartment administration
- Experience managing OAC upgrades, patches, monitoring, snapshots, service migrations, and integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Hands on experience with OAC user and role administration, OCI IAM/IDCS integration, SSO configuration, group based security, and catalog permission management
- Expertise in object, row, and column level data security, auditing user access, and enforcing analytics security best practices and compliance controls
- Hands on experience configuring and managing OAC data connections to Oracle Autonomous DB (ADW/ATP), Oracle DB, OCI Object Storage, on prem databases, and third party sources such as SQL Server etc
- Experience migrating RPDs from Classic BI to OAC, managing semantic model versioning and deployments, performing consistency and impact analysis, and tuning logical table sources for performance
- Experience in OAC performance optimization including query analysis, cache configuration, query acceleration, dataflow tuning, workload and concurrency management, monitoring long running queries, and troubleshooting slow dashboards and reports
- Experience managing OAC catalog organization and folder standards, migrating dashboards and reports, implementing content version control, performing snapshot based backup and restore, archiving obsolete content, and tracking dashboard usage
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) or OBIEE
- Hands-on experience with Hyperion/EPM 11.x, Essbase 21C, and Oracle Analytics Server
- Strong knowledge of Hyperion Planning, Essbase (BSO/ASO), SmartView, and OAS
- Expertise in installation, configuration, migration, and performance tuning
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows platforms
- Familiarity with Ansible for automation
- Strong scripting skills in Essbase calc scripts and MaxL
- Knowledge of Oracle databases (12c/19c) and WebLogic
- Experience integrating with OID, LDAP, MSAD for user management
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus within teams
Desired skills: - Experience with cloud-based EPM solutions
- Working knowledge of Linux administration
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
