Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
· Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on SQL Server administration
· Hands-on experience with:
· SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
· Backup/recovery strategies and performance tuning
· Able to write and maintain lightweight scripts to automate routine tasks and improve operational
efficiency
· Working knowledge of Windows Server in a support capacity (not necessarily deep SME in all
areas)
· Experience supporting production systems in a change management focused environment
(incident, change, root cause investigations)

Roles & Responsibilities
· Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments (installation, configuration,
performance tuning, backups/recovery)
· Design and maintain database solutions to support business applications
· Support Windows Server infrastructure related to SQL environments
· Troubleshoot incidents and drive resolution across database and OS layers
· Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes
· Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors
· Identify, research, and remediate system vulnerabilities, including applying patches and
implementing secure configurations
