Data Architect

Client: Uniphore
Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

<>Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver scalable enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and data models.
  • Build AI-ready data architectures supporting RAG and Agentic AI workflows.
  • Design document ingestion, metadata management, chunking, embeddings, and vector indexing solutions.
  • Architect ETL/ELT, batch, streaming, and CDC-based data integration frameworks.
  • Establish data quality, governance, lineage, security, and access control standards.
  • Lead data discovery workshops and translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production data issues and provide hands-on guidance to engineering teams.
  • Mentor data engineers on modeling, governance, and AI data preparation best practices.
<>Required Skills
  • 10+ years of Data Architecture/Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python.
  • Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Lakehouse architectures, and semantic modeling.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT, Streaming, and CDC pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with RAG, Vector Databases, Embeddings, and AI data platforms.
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
<>Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Kafka, Spark, or Airflow.
  • Experience supporting GenAI and enterprise AI initiatives.
