IT Business Analyst 3

• Responsible for leading requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business needs while ensuring alignment with technical solutions and business goals.
• The role involves working closely with stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define requirements, support system design, coordinate implementation activities, and ensure successful delivery through testing, training, and user support.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Strong experience in requirement elicitation, workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and workflow diagrams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of SDLC including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams.
• Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or IT project environments.
• Experience working with Agile scrum teams or acting as a proxy Product Owner preferred.
• Experience supporting deployment, data migration, and application rollout activities.
• Experience providing Tier-2/Tier-3 application or functional support.
• Experience conducting user training and creating training materials.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirement elicitation sessions including workshops, interviews, and focus groups.
• Analyze and prioritize complex business requirements from multiple stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and data models.
• Participate in system design sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Partner with project managers and technical leads to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Coordinate deployment, data migration, and rollout of applications.
• Define and execute UAT strategies and coordinate testing with business users.
• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for core business applications.
• Provide advanced Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for complex system issues.
• Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
• Propose optimized and innovative solutions for process enhancement.

Should Have:

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA certification.
• Experience with Agile Scrum teams or Product Owner responsibilities.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, ClickUp, or Figma.
