Job title: Senior MS SQL DBA Location: Mechanicsville, VA Remote Duration: 7 months Interview: Either phone or in person

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Administer, install, upgrade, patch, and migrate SQL Server 2019/2022+ databases.
  • Manage SQL clustering, mirroring, failover clustering, and high availability.
  • Write, debug, and optimize T-SQL queries and troubleshoot database performance issues.
  • Monitor database uptime, availability, security, and connectivity.
  • Support SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and Windows-based database environments.
  • Experience with Azure SQL, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of database modeling, scripting, and performance tuning.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
