Responsibilities include general user support for both layout and schematic designers, tool customizations, Unix/Linux support and development testing of new tools and flows.
In this highly visible role, you will:\n\n \tDrive support for Cadence custom flows, tool development, installation and maintenance\n \tWork with the design team to develop utilities and scripts. \n \tSupport Virtuoso Layout and schematic software and release flows based on revision control system\n \tDrive design methodology to increase productivity \n \tWork with CAD team to provide general CAD services support, utilities, scripts while also working closely with the Design and Layout teams\n \tSupport tool configuration and application\n \tInvolvement in test development, automation and regression flow support\n \tCreate and maintain relevant documentation
Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experience.\nExperience in Python programming/scripting
Experience in analog and digital new product development IC CAD support using EDA tools\n\nExpert in Cadence Composer Virtuoso, Layout tools, VXL, PCELLs, and CDFs\n\nExperience supporting data management tools\n\nDeep knowledge of programming languages such as Python, DFII, SKILL, Perl, Tcl\n\nProficient with Unix / Linux OS, utilities, and scripting\n\nStrong communication skills both oral and written
