OverviewLMI is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with experience in F-35 logistics and supply chain to support the LogIT program and OSW sustainment efforts as part of a high-performing systems engineering team. Reporting to the Systems Engineering SME, this role supports core systems engineering activities with an initial emphasis on requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification and testing across the engineering lifecycle. The candidate will work within an Agile framework to help translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical work, contribute to sprint execution, and support integration efforts that align with program objectives. This individual maintains strong collaboration with team members and program leadership, providing disciplined engineering support, technical insight, and problem solving while keeping the broader mission and long-term program vision in focus as responsibilities expand over time.

Responsibilities- Support the systems engineering team in executing requirements development, system design activities, and verification and validation efforts for enterprise logistics information systems supporting asset accountability, property management, and lifecycle logistics operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine system requirements, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment with operational needs.
- Assist in development and execution of test and evaluation activities, including contributing to test planning, test case development, and validation of system performance against requirements.
- Participate in applying systems engineering processes across the engineering lifecycle, including requirements management, analysis, and documentation.
- Work within a SAFe 6 Agile framework, contributing to Program Increment planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Support modeling of business processes, system workflows, and operational concepts related to enterprise logistics and asset lifecycle environments.
- Conduct analysis of existing processes and systems to help identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and implementation activities.
- Contribute to preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations supporting program execution and stakeholder communication.
- Provide flexible, cross-functional support to the team to ensure successful delivery of program objectives.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience supporting systems engineering or enterprise information system environments.
- Experience participating in requirements gathering and system testing activities.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and lifecycle processes.
- Experience working in an Agile environment (SAFe experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and adaptable in dynamic program settings.
- Availability for occasional travel.
Desired Qualifications:- Experience with requirements management or systems modeling tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise logistics or asset accountability systems.
- Exposure to verification and validation or test planning processes.
- Experience supporting DoD programs or environments.
The target salary for this position goes up to $170,000.
