Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking an Associate Director, Enterprise Network Security.

Summary:
We are partnering with a highly respected, mission-driven organization in New York/Hybrid seeking an Associate Director of Enterprise Network Security to join a growing infrastructure and security leadership team. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership opportunity within a large-scale enterprise environment supporting critical operations, enterprise modernization, and long-term infrastructure growth. This team is actively investing in major enterprise infrastructure and security initiatives, including:
* Enterprise network security modernization
* Large-scale infrastructure refresh and upgrade programs
* Hybrid cloud and security expansion efforts
* High-availability and secure access initiatives
* Network segmentation and operational resiliency improvements
* Enterprise-wide security and infrastructure optimization projects

Duties:
* Develop and execute enterprise network security strategy and roadmap
* Lead and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and security professionals
* Oversee implementation and maintenance of enterprise security technologies
* Drive incident response coordination, escalation management, and remediation efforts
* Lead infrastructure assessments, risk mitigation, and security hardening initiatives
* Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams on enterprise security initiatives
* Manage vendor relationships, hardware lifecycle planning, and budget allocation
* Promote a security-first operational culture across the organization

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) required in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
* 5+ years of leadership or people management experience
* Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise network security environments, particularly Palo Alto technologies and centralized firewall management platforms
* Experience with F5 technologies, load balancing, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and/or Forescout is a strong plus
* Strong operational and incident management background within large enterprise environments
* Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, migrations, or modernization initiatives
* Ability to balance technical depth with leadership responsibilities
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
