Introduction:

The SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) position at Daten Technology Solutions is a crucial role within our team. As an SDET, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to identify and address issues early in the development process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated test scripts using Java coding
• Execute test cases and analyze results to ensure software quality
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects
• Create and maintain test data and test environments
• Conduct performance testing and provide feedback to the development team
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality
• Work with AWS services for testing purposes
• Utilize TestNG framework for test execution and reporting
• Use SQL for database testing and data validation

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java coding for test automation
• Experience with SQL for database testing
• Knowledge of AWS services for testing purposes
• Familiarity with TestNG framework for test execution

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with REST Assured for API testing
• Knowledge of AI tools for testing automation
• Proficiency in using tools such as Maven, Git, Jenkins/ci-cd pipelines
