Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in DBT and Snowflake to build and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data transformation, data modeling, and analytics engineering.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool).
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience developing ELT/ETL frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
  • Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data models in Snowflake using DBT.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize ELT pipelines.
  • Create reusable DBT models, macros, and tests.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and performance.
  • Partner with analytics, BI, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Snowflake workloads.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Airflow or other orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Experience with data cataloging and governance tools.

Nice to Have

  • Snowflake Certifications.
  • DBT Cloud experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data platforms.
