Location: Northfield, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Developer to design, develop, and implement AI-powered chatbot and AI agent solutions. This role focuses on end-to-end conversation orchestration, enterprise integrations, and delivering seamless customer experience solutions at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop AI chatbot and AI agent solutions aligned with business use cases
Own end-to-end conversation orchestration including workflows and decision logic
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and knowledge bases
Develop APIs, middleware, and data pipelines for AI-driven interactions
Implement seamless handoffs between AI and live agents with full context continuity
Perform prompt engineering and optimize model responses
Improve performance across latency, cost, and accuracy
Ensure scalability, reliability, and production readiness
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful implementation
Support testing, debugging, and deployment activities
Monitor system performance and continuously enhance AI capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of software development experience
2–3+ years in AI/ML or conversational AI
Experience building AI agents or orchestration frameworks
Strong integration experience with enterprise applications
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java
Experience with AI/LLM frameworks and APIs
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform)
Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering

Preferred Skills

Experience with conversational AI platforms
Multi-model (LLM) orchestration experience
Experience with real-time chat or voice integrations
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring tools
Understanding of Responsible AI and security practices
