Location: Jacksonville, FL (On-site)
Duration: Long-term Contract OR Contract to hire.

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, and maintain robust mainframe applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain COBOL applications, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Design and implement IMS DB/DC and DB2 Stored Procedures to enhance system functionality.
Utilize JCL for job scheduling and automation, optimizing batch processes.
Manage and troubleshoot CICS transactions, ensuring seamless online processing.
Oversee VSAM datasets, ensuring data integrity and efficient access.
Employ Changeman for version control and deployment processes.
Utilize IBM Debug Tools for effective debugging and issue resolution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Programming Languages: COBOL, PL/1
Databases: DB2, IMS DB/DC
Utilities: JCL, VSAM, SYNCSORT, DFSORT, ICETOOL, IDCAMS
Debugging Tools: IBM Debugger, Smart Test
Other Tools: SPUFI, QMF, TSO/ISPF, Endevor
