Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a senior Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist to support a global implementation across 20 countries. This program will replace the client’s current UKG platform. The ideal consultant has hands-on implementation and configuration experience in Workday Absence and/or Time Tracking, an active Workday certification, and excellent client-facing communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
Active Workday certification in Time Tracking or Absence
3–6 years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking and/or Absence implementation and configuration experience
Strong knowledge of the Workday Business Process Framework and Workday data model
Experience configuring Workday Absence processes, Time Tracking processes, or both
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities, project deadlines, and multiple workstreams effectively
Clear, professional communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules.
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday configurations.
Configure Absence functionality, including leave of absence, accruals, time-off plans, eligibility rules, and reporting.
Configure Time Tracking functionality, including work schedules, time entry, time calculations, approvals, and related business processes.
Provide Workday best-practice guidance to business stakeholders and project leadership.
Configure and support security roles and reporting requirements.
Partner with integration teams by providing functional requirements, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issues.
Develop and maintain functional documentation, test cases, and configuration workbooks.
Execute system testing, resolve defects, and support deployment readiness.
Act as a subject matter expert, provide regular status updates, and help drive successful project outcomes.
