IT Business Analyst

• Position: IT Business Analyst
• Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – Only Local Candidates)
• Job Type: Contract / W2
• Duration: 1 Year Contract
• Interview Mode: In-Person Interview
• Onsite Requirement: 2 Days/Week (Wednesday Mandatory)
• Local Candidates Only: Candidates must be local to Michigan at the time of submission

Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and process modelling
• Experience in project estimation, planning, and forecasting
• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements
• Experience creating test plans and test cases with business SMEs
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and CMMI
• Experience with application development environments and related tools
• Strong understanding of RFP documentation and requirement drafting
• Ability to create swim lanes, use cases, sequence diagrams, and process flows
• Advanced experience with MS Office, MS Project, and Visio
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working on complex business and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams effectively
• Prior State Government experience is preferred

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Mathematics, or related field
