Experience
The Intermediate Software Developer Must have a bachelor s degree with at least three 10 plus years with lead (with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Salesforce Low code platforms, AWS) of hands-on full stack supporting architects and developing solutions using agile/Scrum methodologies preferably in federal space. Must have developer experience in a low code platform, with AWS certifications and or demonstrate equivalent experience. Must have Agile/Scrum, and other related developer certifications and/or demonstrate equivalent experience.
Roles and Responsibilities :
The intermediate developer must have extensive experience contributing to design, development, and administration on Salesforce Low code platforms platform projects from end to end including identifying and using OOTB marketplace plugins rather than develop code. The intermediate developer Is responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, implementing, and maintaining software of moderate complexity or assisting with modules of large, highly complex solutions. Core duties include defining solution objectives by analyzing user requirements, mapping the requirements to design options, evaluating the options and recommending a solution based on the customer priorities, and implementing the agreed upon solution. Works both independently and as part of a team to develop software that meets both business and compliance requirements. The developer at this level is responsible for the technical development of assigned personnel. Experience in applications development includes defining requirements; estimating work effort; designing, developing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) mappings and workflows for large data warehouse projects; and creating and maintaining technical ETL related documentation. Thorough understanding of system development life cycle principles, including agile development practices. Advanced analytical skills and ability to learn new material quickly. Documents applications according to Government standards and procedures.
Engage with government stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements for software solutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and contract stipulations.
Develop and configure Salesforce applications according to agency needs, including implementing security best practices to comply with government regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST guidelines).
Write reusable and maintainable code to enhance existing applications or build new functionality.
Design, implement, and maintain structures for data storage and retrieval using Informix databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Implement data governance and ensure proper data handling procedures are followed according to federal guidelines.
Develop and maintain integration solutions between Salesforce, Informix, and Snowflake to support data flows required for reports, analytics, and operations.
Utilize middleware and ETL tools to facilitate data synchronization across platforms while ensuring data integrity and security.
Adhere to government contract requirements, privacy, and security protocols 25
throughout the development lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation for all systems and processes, including architectural diagrams, user manuals, and compliance reports.
Conduct thorough unit tests and participate in system integration testing to ensure that new features meet government quality standards.
Assist in preparing for audits and compliance reviews by providing required documentation and demonstrating adherence to guidelines.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide technical support for end-users within government agencies, resolving issues related to applications and databases in a timely manner.
Participate in a help desk rotation or support ticket system to address issues reported by users.
Collaborate with IT colleagues and other departments to identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies.
Facilitate training sessions for government staff on new technologies or system updates to ensure effective use of developed applications.
Stay current with emerging technologies, especially regarding Salesforce, database best practices, and data analytics tools.
Engage in professional development opportunities, including training relevant to government contracting and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications for Government Contracting:
Proficient in Salesforce development and configuration best practices tailored for government use (knowledge of regulations like FedRAMP may be beneficial). o Strong background in SQL and experience with Informix and Snowflake databases. o Familiarity with data governance frameworks and security requirements relevant to federal contracts.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
Proven experience working with diverse teams within a structured bureaucratic environment.
