Product Owner – OTC / Financial Systems
Location: CA
Work Model: Remote, with occasional visits as requested by the client
Role Overview:
13+ Years
We are looking for a strong Product Owner with deep Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Finance Systems experience to drive product vision, requirements, prioritization, and delivery for Finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Own the OTC product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and business outcomes.
Work closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and technology teams to identify and define business requirements.
Lead requirements across Quote, Contract, Order Management, Billing, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Payments, Revenue Recognition, and Renewals.
Translate business needs into clear epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business processes.
Prioritize backlog based on business value, dependencies, risk, and organizational priorities.
Partner with architects and delivery teams to define scalable solutions and resolve functional gaps.
Drive UAT, business validation, adoption, and successful implementation of new capabilities.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate product priorities, progress, risks, and decisions effectively.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in planning, refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Experience
13+ years of experience, with strong Product Owner / Business Product Management experience.
Deep functional knowledge of OTC and Finance processes.
Experience delivering Finance/ERP/CRM transformation initiatives.
Strong experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
Proven Agile/Scrum experience.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and influencing skills.
Good to Have
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance / Finance & Operations.
Experience with ERP/CRM transformation or system consolidation.
Product Owner / Agile certifications
