NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking a Tech Consultant - Java Backend Developer to join their team in Atlanta, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).

Job Description:
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud-native development practices.

• The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to build high-performance backend systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Day to Day job Duties:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain Microservices-based architectures.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Implement secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product, business, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in experience in Java 8/11/17.
• 4+ years' experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• 4+ years' experience in Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• 3+ years' experience in Spring Data JPA / Hibernate.

Nice to have:

• Experience in SQL databases

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $50 to $60. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
