Job Title: Facilities Caretaker / Site Support Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Caretaker / Site Support Technician to oversee the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and operational readiness of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure the building infrastructure, equipment, and environment are maintained to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of facility infrastructure and equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor repairs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)

• Monitor building systems and report abnormalities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the facility

• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

• Maintain logs and documentation of maintenance activities

• Support data center operations (if applicable), including equipment monitoring and physical security checks

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, caretaker, or building support roles

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to use maintenance tools and basic computer systems

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certification in facilities maintenance or a related field

• Experience in IT/data center environments

• OSHA safety certification

• Familiarity with ticketing or facility management systems
