Job Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in API-led connectivity, MuleSoft development, integration architecture, and cloud-based integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Build reusable integration frameworks, templates, and shared services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and MuleSoft applications.
- Ensure API quality, security, performance, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration and API performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, integration designs, and data flow diagrams.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and production support activities.
- Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for enterprise integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API design and integration development.
- 5+ years of experience with REST, SOAP, RAML, and OpenAPI (OAS).
- 5+ years of experience with MuleSoft components including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.
- 5+ years of experience with Java, XML, JSON, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and integration best practices.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) and/or MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and integration patterns.
- Advanced experience translating business requirements into technical designs using:
- RAML
- REST APIs
- SOAP Web Services
- Mule Connectors
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft 4.2+ (current environment: MuleSoft 4.3).
- Strong knowledge of Anypoint Platform 7.5+.
- Extensive experience creating RAML specifications and working with SOAP, WSDL, XSD, REST, and JSON.
- Advanced experience developing and executing MUnit test cases.
- Experience integrating external applications through APIs and web services.
- Strong database integration experience using JDBC, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Anypoint Runtime Manager.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, metadata management, and operational data stores.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
