Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workday Integration Lead / Associate Consulting Manager to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday integrations, hands-on technical experience with integration tools, and the ability to lead implementation workstreams while collaborating with enterprise clients and cross-functional teams.
The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and supporting complex Workday integrations across HCM and Financials modules. This role requires both technical expertise and client-facing consulting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Workday integration workstreams for Workday HCM and Financials implementations and support projects
• Design and develop inbound and outbound integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, and custom integration solutions
• Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and third-party applications such as Payroll, Benefits, Finance, ERP, CRM, and external vendor systems
• Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions
• Build and support REST/SOAP API-based integrations and web services
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities
• Analyze integration issues and provide timely resolutions while ensuring system stability and performance
• Participate in project planning, estimation, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions
• Prepare technical documentation, including integration specifications, mapping documents, and deployment procedures
• Ensure adherence to Workday integration best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior consultants and team members
• Manage client communication, status reporting, and delivery coordination throughout the project lifecycle
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in Workday Integrations within consulting or enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with:
- Workday Studio
- EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)
- Cloud Connect
- Core Connectors
- Workday Web Services
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials modules
• Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and web service technologies
• Experience working on multiple end-to-end Workday implementation projects
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex integration scenarios
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working directly with clients and managing stakeholder expectations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Current Workday Integration or Workday Studio Certification
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Prior experience leading integration teams or managing workstreams
• Exposure to project management, estimation, and resource planning activities
• Knowledge of Workday security and reporting concepts is a plus
