Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Audio-Visual (AV) Design Engineer to play a critical role in the planning, design, and implementation of innovative AV solutions across our organization. This role partners closely with clients, stakeholders, and installation teams to translate business and user needs into scalable, technically sound AV system designs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and understand functional needs
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to inform AV system design
- Design end-to-end AV solutions, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with standards
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including system drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Create and maintain AV programming components, including code modules and touch panel designs
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and installation teams, to deliver successful implementations
- Perform testing and quality assurance to validate system performance prior to deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues during design, testing, and post-implementation
- Present and explain AV designs to technical and non-technical audiences, incorporating feedback as needed
- Ensure all designs comply with organizational standards, best practices, and applicable regulations

Experience & Qualifications- 5-10+ years of demonstrated experience in AV system design, engineering, and programming
- Proven knowledge of AV technologies and infrastructure across multi-campus environments
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale AV solutions
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on programming experience using Lua, Python, HTML, and advanced CSS

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
