Position Overview: Position supports the Governance function and is heavily focused on the DMZ Center of Excellence (COE).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee governance processes within the DMZ COE.
- Review and coordinate approval of new non-standard network traffic requests and architecture designs that require DMZ COE governance review.
- Support audit and regulatory compliance by ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and governance records are maintained.
- Facilitate and manage DMZ COE operations, including:
- Conducting approximately three governance meetings per week.
- Participating in evening meetings twice per month to review new requests and design proposals.
- Hosting office hours to assist stakeholders with governance documentation requirements.
- Maintain and manage DMZ COE inventory, ensuring records remain accurate and current.
- Document meeting discussions, capture decisions and action items, and distribute meeting notes.
- Coordinate and track governance approvals.
- Develop a strong understanding of the technical requests and designs being reviewed to effectively support governance decisions.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including reporting and Excel integration.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
- Understanding of network security concepts and governance processes.
- Ability to lead meetings, document discussions, and communicate outcomes effectively.
- Experience managing documentation repositories and governance inventories.
- Utilize SharePoint to integrate multiple data sources and processes.
- Manage spreadsheet uploads and data population to ensure governance inventories remain accurate and accessible.
- Ensure inventory data is downloadable and properly maintained.
- Convert and enhance PowerPoint-based governance frameworks, including building hyperlinks and documentation that explain processes, workflows, and governance requirements.
- Infrastructure Governance experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Approximately 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
