Senior Business Analyst with Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Duration: 12 Months

Location:  Remote (Travel to Tampa or Dallas when business needed)

Responsibilities:

A Senior Business Analyst with strong Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience acts as the critical bridge between distribution operations and IT. This role typically requires 7–10 years of supply chain experience, with a focus on implementing, configuring, and optimizing tier-1 solutions like Manhattan Associates (Active WMS/WMOS), Oracle WMS (EBS/Cloud), or SAP WM/EWM. 

Core Responsibilities

• Requirements & Design: Leading stakeholder workshops to gather business requirements and translating them into functional specifications (BRDs).
• WMS Configuration: Managing system setups for inbound/outbound processes, pick strategies, wave configuration, and labor management.
• Process Optimization: Analyzing warehouse workflows to identify inefficiencies and implementing automation or system enhancements.
• Implementation & Testing: Driving full-lifecycle activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
• Cross-Functional Integration: Defining data mappings and integration requirements between the WMS and other systems like ERP (SAP/Oracle), TMS, or automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE). 

Key Skills & Tools

• Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge of warehouse operations (Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping).
• Technical Proficiency: SQL for data analysis, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting, and documentation tools like Visio or Jira.
• Methodologies: Extensive experience with Agile Development and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
