Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AliCloud)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA/Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AliCloud Data Platform Engineer with strong hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable data platforms primarily on Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data pipelines on AliCloud.
- Develop robust data processing and analytics solutions to support business and data science initiatives.
- Work closely with Data Science, DevOps, and business teams.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
- Implement distributed data processing and big data solutions.
- Design and support data warehousing architectures.
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions using technologies such as Kafka and Flink.
- Work with Spark and Airflow for data processing and orchestration.
- Support cloud networking, security, and infrastructure on AliCloud.
- Apply DevOps practices using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized data applications.
- Support data platforms in Linux/RHEL environments.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) data services.
- Data engineering and data platform architecture experience.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, Spark, and Airflow.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong Linux experience; RHEL preferred.
- Experience with Terraform and CI/CD.
- Understanding of distributed systems, data warehousing, cloud networking, and security.
- Strong experience with scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.
