About the Role

We are seeking a Web Designer with strong UI/UX expertise to support the Elections Portal. This is a hands-on content implementation role focused on delivering accurate, user-friendly, and compliant digital experiences.

Note: This role is NOT focused on web development. It is centered around content, usability, and design execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Election Cycle Support:
  Execute timely updates for the Election Cycle, including candidate filing locations, voter registration deadlines, and polling data.
• CMS Management (Granicus):
  Perform hands-on configuration and content updates using Granicus govAccess CMS, ensuring adherence to Nevada government templates.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Work closely with SMEs from Elections, Commercial Recordings, and Securities divisions to translate complex regulations into user-friendly content.
• Accessibility & Language Compliance:
  Ensure all content meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards and is available in required languages (Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean).
• Portal Integration:
  Support content alignment with Project Orion (Business Licensing Portal) for a seamless user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CMS Expertise:
  2+ years of experience with Granicus govAccess or similar enterprise-level CMS platforms.
• UI/UX Design:
  3+ years of experience in user research, interaction design, and visual design principles.
• Domain Knowledge:
  Familiarity with election systems such as EASE (Effective Absentee System for Elections) and voter roll maintenance processes is preferred.
• Compliance & Accuracy:
  Strong understanding of ADA standards and ability to manage content with high precision, especially where legal implications are involved.
• Communication Skills:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to clearly explain how your experience aligns with election-related systems and requirements.
